April 2008 The Paige Turner: Wishing Well for a Perfect World
Paige Wolf Media & Public Relations Newsletter
Like most of the country, when Oprah raved about The Secret I picked up a copy and waited for the big "a-ha moment." OK, no big surprises here - put what you want out into the universe and you are more likely to get it back. It's just karma meets enterprise. Fortunately, I have this newsletter to put my hopes and dreams into the cosmos.

That said, I think in a perfect world my business would allow even more opportunity to merge my passion for PR with my interest in all things eco-friendly. I would love to be the go-to firm for local businesses with new socially conscious products and ideas. I am so lucky to currently be working with such positive people, open to suggestions and opportunities to make the world a better place.

For instance, Equilibrium Pilates is so green they were able to stay open when the rest of the neighborhood was shut down due to a power failure. And then there's The Career Wardrobe, both socially and environmentally proactive as a venue to recycle clothing for a great cause. This year we are even producing reusable Career Wardrobe tote bags for our A Perfect Fit fundraiser and working to implement the slogan, "Recycle your clothing, renew a woman's life." That's karma meets enterprise right there.

Body Kinetics Massage Goes Far Beyond Scented Oils

My past experience.s with professional massage have often disappointed. Rather than reduce my stress and pain, scented massage oil clumsily rubbed to the tune of new age music just made me want to shower thoroughly and take a nap.

But when I met Paul Millwood a couple years ago I was so impressed with his skills I made my husband buy me an at-home massage for my birthday. So I was thrilled when I found out he had opened his own Center City space.

Paul integrates an amazing technical knowledge of the human body, fusing the techniques of a physical therapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, and spinal specialist. Having worked for years with top athletes and dancers, Paul has an incredible understanding of what causes the body stress and pain, and a single session leaves patients feeling euphoric and strong, rather than greasy and tired. Schedule a session with Paul and you won't be disappointed.

Velashape Update: A Whole New Jean Size
I just wanted to give an update to last month's boast about Velashape. After my sixth and final simple treatment at American Laser Center, I have lost a total of four inches and had all my jeans taken in. I know I sound like an infomercial, but this is too cool to keep to myself.
